Following my grandfather’s death, we found an old abandoned box containing some of his “belongings”, it had an old watch, old keys, and many other things.
Contemplating these objects, I firstly thought that they are all he left behind, yet I realized that he left much more memories, memories that are related to these belongings, so I started distributing the contents of that box in an artistic way to photograph them, commenting on the photograph with a memory I remember the most about him, aside from his name, age and cause of death.
The project then extended to immortalise all of the acquaintances who passed away and left some of their “belongings” and dozens of memories who will never fade.
