This is a revamp of my final major project from university.
The Happiness Department Store is an exhibition that treats happiness from a new perspective. On the one hand, there is a language dimension. On the other side, I tried to turn consumerism around. Instead of promoting tangible products you would find on the shelves of your favourite supermarket, I am promoting happiness thoughts as if they were goods to consume, in a language we all know so well - that of advertising. It’s no longer just consumerism, nor just happiness.
It’s called happiness consumerism!
