BRIEF
To replicate existing product in a scaled up model.
MOTIVE
To learn different industrial processes and techniques and to enhance our skills in handling materials.
The process started with examining the product (here Correction Tape) and then creating AutoCad drawing of every single component because,' you don't enter workshop without proper instructions.'.
Further different processes were involved to create this replica mainly vaccum forming of polystyrene to make outer shell of the product.
Another great technique I learned was to create 2mm thick window of the product, out of acrylic rod of diameter 50mm in lathe machine.
Replica here is a 1.5 times scaled up to the original product.
Branding is vinyl cutted n pasted instead of printing.
