This exhibition project has won a competition in the Furniture Fair 2015 in collaboration with the magazine "Design the Jungle". The installation is about the design on an exhibition inherent to the food theme of EXPO 2015 for the botanical garden of Milan. The aim of our installation is to encourage the farming theme in an urban context through a temporary design. The design of the structure is made of a superimposition of wooden textures that want to be light, sympathetic with the area and with the exhibition theme. The installation's shape comes from to the idea of a grain spike. The shape creates three different areas with different height in order to create a path of knowledge. The first area is a vegetable garden. Here is shown how and what cultivate at home. Then there is a kitchen where to cook what you have cultivated in the previous phase. At the end, there is a shop where the visitors can buy some seeds with the aim to bring them at home to start their urban farmer activity.
