Quickmail Christmas Invitations

I think it must be Christmas or something? Because once again I am designing some sort of Christmas invite and making dodgy Christmas cards. Merry Christmas Ellie! *Sigh* So this year I decided I was going to use my time for good rather than evil and tried my hand at hand lettering. I haven’t done this since TAFE so I pretty please with how it turned out.
I wanted it to feel a little rustic so it is printed on Advocate Bright White Laid. This paper hates the digital printer and doesn’t fuse properly, which for any other occasion would be a problem. However, because there isn’t a lot of solid colour on this artwork it just gave the purple a little texture.

I put some envelopes together on the OKI printer, they are just C6. I think it put a really nice touch on the whole thing. Maybe it’s because I am in mailing but I think that nothing is complete without a beautiful envelope. Think finishing at the beginning! Says Trish from Fold Factory.
So this is my take on the Corporate Christmas party invite. If this posts inspires one less crappy Christmas invite with a bauble I will be happy.
