We have made a motion graphic to show people how Chinese dishes have involved animals mistreating and torturing in the cooking process. We hope (at least some) people would eat less dishes which involve animals mistreating after watching our animation,so that less unnecessary pain and suffering would inflict on food animals!!

In this project I'm responsible for character design.
Design Concept + Draft
We decided to switch the human position with animals in our animation, letting us to know how it looks/feels like when animals were cooked and eaten by human. By studying twenty Chinese restaurant menus, I found that :
suckling pig, seafood, shark fin soup and roasted chicken,
are the most common dishes so i picked the these food animals as our characters.

Then I’ve to search for appropriate human form to apply on the characters, 4 kinds of human form, i.e.men, women, babies & elders, have been chosen as they have something similar/ in common with the animals. Beside, as the theme of our animation is about cruelty of Chinese dishes/cooking are, we focus on the Chinese when we did our human research.
