We were asked to create a poster for a made up exhibition called "Desert Expressions". This is an exhibition about women in the Middle East and it is made by women in the region. Even though the Middle Eastern world is becoming more advanced, Middle Eastern women in todays society are still somewhat being treated unfairly in the sense that their opinions do not matter since some regions still live in a male dominated society. I illustrated a young, beautiful Arabic women, whose mouth is hidden, therefore she can not express her opinions freely.
