We were to create at least three images that explore the concepts and ideas of a sense of place that employs the use of the black and white zone system. Our subject matter will be focusing on urban or rural landscapes.

The above three photgraphs are taken near where I live. They are of a very old cement plant. What I liked about taking these were the old, rough, industrial sense of place with mother nature, a bridge and a pond with ducks behind the factory plus the fact that it had just snowed the day before with 9 inches of snow.
