Ragtown is a video game made in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare Jam contest. I took part as one of the artists at Indie4Fun. The theme was 'Entire game in one screen' so we thought in a Western-like town changing over the years, so you can see the same scene but with different buildings -depending on how you manage the population as the Sheriff-.

My work was to create the game characters. The characters should be really easy to differenciate. As the game style was minimalist, that was achieved by making them with really different and slightly exaggerated shapes.
First I studied and designed the shape of all characters. After that, I made all the animation cycles: walking, shooting, crouching and dying. Animations were made with bones using Toon Boon Animate Pro.

All the backgrounds, game assets and the ingame HUD was designed -both in concept art and animations- by another artist of the team, Pablo Spaceboy.
