Visual Identity for IRL Exhibition

IRL exhibition
Visual identity, April 2015

"IRL (In real life) is an exhibition about realities of digital image. Art projects by ten authors shed light on ways digital format and its presence on the internet have influenced mechanisms of perception, making conclusions and expression. The exhibited artworks,
which were produced in the past four years, are thematically and formally very different, and organised in three sections in space:
social commentary, critique of physical appearance standards, and traditional and digital image hybrid"

It was fun and challenging to do visual identity for IRL exhibition with an extreamly low budget. The whole process was pretty much DIY:
I cut-out the wall label out of 2 different self-adhesive papers. For booklets and flyers, I came up with an almost naive-like black and white graphical composition, simulating 3D impression with conventional 2D approach. Both were printed out on friends' printers, on shiny silver paper and thick tracing paper. Artist statements with artwork specifications consisted of icons depicting the exhibited work, charts with basic info and keywords replacing usual text statements.
