Abstract
With design process created a digital prototype of an application for students, specially for those who are
new to the campus, involving research processes like identifying problems and creating user based profiles
and scenarios based on common interactions. Also to design an appropriate logo and a name for the same.
The project is basically to learn Interaction design and implement the learning into some
solid outcome such as a mobile application for IITH campus.
Problem Identification
The idea of making an app was because of my own experience that I faced during intial days in IITH, and
even now. The access of information is done by social sites which was hard to figure out for new students or
for some one who is not aware of the campus and it makes getting information difficult and confusing.
The sites were not even updated regularly.
Objective
To make a mobile based app which concentrates on all the activities and information about IIT Hyderabad.
Secondary objective is to give students a handy application to get updates on day to day happenings in both
curriculum and other activities. Basically all the information that a student access through various mediums
like mail, face book, Google, calendar etc can be directed and accessed from a single app.
