Cinema Botanico it's a cultural program of Culiacan's Botanical Garden that exhibits alternative movies. Each month there’s a new cycle, with 1 movie per week and 3 functions for each movie.
In april the cycle was named "MIDNIGHT MOVIES”; term that come from the low budget movies that were showed at midnight on american television in the 50’s. They became popular at the movie theaters in the 70’s; experimental, surrealist and horror movies that didn’t success at first, found a new audience during this decade.
The design it’s based on what happened to the tv screen when there was no signal, after the daily programming was over.
