MELD is a Boston, MA based team which aims to bring the community together with art, food, and music through travelling exhibitions. This series of illustrations was based on the process of phytormemediation, in which specific plants such as sunflowers, pennycress, and Japanese royal fern are used to pull toxins and pollutants out of soil so anything can be planted there.
