"The rebirth of nature"
„The rebirth of nature“ is an idea dealing with world ecological issues. Our technologies and new materials have been developing every day quickly. There is a point to return one step back. This design is showing reusability of the wood.
A part of designed lights shows beauty of irregular structure of natural wood after rough processing. The atypical shape can offer an ambient lightening in arbitrary scene by placing on a desk or hanging. On the other hand, another solution of using woods from ancient time has been clear for everyone.
There is an effective usage of ash from charred wood as a nutritious fertilizer. I have tried to reuse this waste material for the polygonal lights. The wooden ash is mixed with flour and water. Composite material has been formed and baked to evaporate water to become rigid and durable.
A final composite is made of natural components without glue and it is dissolvable in the water. That means that material is compostable.
The lights are supported by high-power however low energy LED lights. Textile cables show modern competences and customization of the taste.
This project has successfully become a part of the student project PopUp Show exhibited at Ventura Labrate in Milano (IT) and Design Festival in Lodz (PL).

Design interiérových svietidiel s názvom Cinder (uhlík) rieši problém ekológie. Je predmetom „Re-usable design“, teda využíva odpadový materiál dreva. Primárny design zobrazuje jedinečnú štruktúru hrubo opracovaného dreva. Náhodný atypický tvar dovoľuje ambientné nasvietenie scény pod rôznym uhlom. Hlavná idea sa skrýva v použití odpadového materiálu svojho spáleného predchodcu. Využíva drevný popol, ktorý sa už v dávnej dobe uplatnil ako prírodné hnojivo. Kompozit je zmiešaný s múkou a vodou, zaformovaný a zapečený. Je 100% kompostovateľný a vodou rozpustiteľný, čo ponúka jeho ďalšie ekologické využitie. Svietidlá prezentujú tiež hravé a nápadité textilné káble v rôznych farbách.
