O briefing foi:
"crie qualquer coisa que quiser para preencher uma área máxima de 2mx2m - vale tudo e pode ser qualquer numa base de qualquer uma das formas abaixo [hexágono, triângulo, quadrado e círculo]. A instalação final consistirá em 4 formas com designs únicos, que ficarão próximos à tenda da Shapes no Farmfestival."
Decidi observar o estilo visual e a mensagem do Farmfestival em busca de inspiração. O resultado é a ilustração a seguir, feita para a base de formato triangular. A inspiração vem do etos do festival: boas causas, música produzida localmente e uma atmosfera tranquila e relaxada. A paleta de cores é inspirada na identidade visual do festival, usando basicamente vermelho e variações.
The brief was:
"design anything you like to fill an area no larger than 6ftx6ft - anything goes and it can be any of the shape templates shown below [hexagon, triangle, square and circle]. The final installation will consist of 4 uniquely designed shapes, which will sit close to the Shapes' guest tent at Farmfestival."
I decided to look into Farmfestival visual style and message for inspiration. The result is this illustration, meant to fill a triangular shape. The inspiration comes from the festival's ethos: good causes, local music and a chill atmosphere. The pallete is inspired by the festival's visual identity, using mostly red and variations.
