Designing an entire music CD cover for your favorite band.
I chose an English Rock band called Porcupine Tree.
They play progressive Rock Music and generally have this very eerie feel to their songs. The album I chose to work with is Anesthetize which is also the name of the title track of the album.
I used photography as a medium to generate or portray the kind of feel the album has.
Porcupine Tree generally uses the three slashes ' /// ' in the between their name and the albums name which often goes unnoticed. I decided to use these slashes as a visual style or symbol for the band and blended them in with the photography hence giving them the attention they haven't been getting.
