In the middle of a lonely street in Belgium an alley cat came to me and wasn't quite sure if it could trust the man with the camera. The resulting video is a play between cautiousness, curiosity and caress. It was interesting to see how the cat got closer and closer, but never really got into comfort.
This is a quick lens whacking test I did in 2013 on a trip to Belgium and France, where I was supposed to shoot a wedding. But cats are so much more interesting anyway! Afterwards I added some vintage film effects to finish off the used film look. The colorful light effects are created in camera, though.
