FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE
Visual Identity for Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica, Montenegro.
With this redesign my intention was to rinse the symbolism of the activities of the institution itself in a creative way. The sign is designed to be simple and applicable. Functionally designed structure of the sign supports architectural features. Subtle detail on the end, which connects the two letters, reminds of the arrow which is used in the technical drawing. The combination of two colors leaves a wide range of usage. The word-mark follows a simple and practical nature of the sign. The game of straight and curved lines, as well as geometric shapes, triangle, ellipse, connecting the two characters - acronyms into a single unit. The result is certain appropriation of typographical functions as an illustrative approach, accuracy and communication.
