Gannet (English)

This project was developed in the discipline of Design Practice 3 by Lucas Rocha Martins and Arthur Gimenez Zanduzzo on the year of 2014.
The problem selected to be a start point for this project was the lack of a water bottle with a good insulation to maintain liquids cold in the brazilian market.
Inspired by elements of nature and the automotive environment, Gannet is a thermos for water consumption that unites high technology to a curved aesthetic that contrasts with the color range that goes through its parts, forming a visual unit with its elements.
Gannet consists of a stainless steel cylinder with double-walled vacuum between them, ensuring that the liquids maintain their temperature for several hours the cap has a fast and intuitive operation system can be operated with one hand and also features a safety lock to prevent leak.
The graphics on the bottle create a visual relation between the cap and the body of the product, the version presented on these images is a standard version but the idea is that many graphic designers and artists are going to create variations of the product periodically to keep it fresh on the market and always connected to the target group.
