KEUKEN is taken from Netherland language mean ‘kitchen’. It’s a one day cooking event which features a spreading on utilizations of city public spaces issue, packaged in a street festival way which everyone could join. KEUKEN is initiated in response to an urging need of public spaces within the citizen and while thinking what’s the most intimate way for citizen of Bandung to rejoice their city streets, we immediately thought of foods. KEUKEN gather up many diverse layers of people to celebrate their own public spaces in open streets, in a curated food festival. Held in Bandung every year, KEUKEN would fill open streets in Bandung with specially invited food tenants, curated to fit each of every our unique themes. Also, with our educating and entertaining features, which hopefully attract every existing layers of city actors, we are glad to inspire everyone in spreading our messages and issues of winning spaces and festive eatings.
