The brief: to design a range of books covers from an author that appeals to 16–30 year olds.

Outcome: after researching various book covers for the chosen author, Jane Austen, I found that almost all were printed paperbacks, so I opted to produce a set of tactile covers. A careful selection of floral patterned fabrics reflecting the Victorian period and the female heroine from each of the books. The end result is a set of novels and bookmarks that are keepsakes and have much more value to the reader than any digital copy.
