I realized at some point that the geography of my dreams was fairly consistent. The same places showed up repeatedly and in space in relation to other places in previous dreams. I realized I could map them. So I did, in a lined spiral notebook with a ballpoint pen, partially on a Brooklyn bus to IKEA and partially sitting on my bed.
