This chair is used for doing abdominal and lower back exercises. The entire concept is based on air pressure system which controls the resistance of the main lever arm. This lever arm is positioned on the user’s chest, or on his back, and it transfers the rotary motion to a linear system. Sliding gear is used to push the air cylinders and compress them. The compression force is controlled by two air tanks stored below the seat. This rather complicated system allows very simple use of the chair with multiple different exercises that can be performed. High level of adjustability makes it suitable for almost every type of body. Back supports and leg pads are adjustable through extension and rotation. Seat height can be adjusted through leg rotation, also seat angle can be changed by leg rotation. Sliding gear has different break positions to limit the motion. The main pad can slide up and down to adapt to different torso positions. The resistance can be incresed or decreased on the fly with a mobile wireless controller. In the end, when the exercize is over, the chair can be folder and moved around on wheels which are mounted on the side.
