The concavity exercise allows us to feel the movement of space through a form. The surfaces direct the gesture through the volume and control the speed of the movement. The space itself becomes a volume.

 

The fragment problem challenges us to take a beautiful form, devide into three beautiful shapes with dominant, subdominant, and subordinate relationships, and arrange them into an even more beautiful composition.
