An identity designed for New Balance's Shoe School. New Balance provides associates and other guests with the opportunity to spend a day in their Maine factory attending "Shoe School." While at shoe school the associate participates in the making of a pair of shoes starting with the leather or synthetic and finishing when the shoes are placed in their box. At the end of shoe school students receive a diploma and a USB drive containing photos of their experience. The identity was created to invoke the craftsmanship and heritage that is at the root of New Balance's US manufacturing process.
