O PROCESSO
No século XVIII o tipógrafo e pintor inglês, William Blake, deu os primeiros passos no livro de autor a pensar no livro como suporte para uma obra de arte. O livro de autor que desenvolvi foi, livro instantâneo que retrata a minha interpretação do processo da morte. Analisando o suporte, posso considerar que se torna num objecto bastante interessante com seis páginas que pode conter a vertente de desdobrável com factor surpresa, podendo assim aliar a imaginação à criatividade.
O processo foi o título que atribui ao meu trabalho. Todos nós já sofremos a morte de alguém, faz parte da nossa vida passar por esse processo. Eu retratei o processo da morte, o momento em que o meu avô partiu. Os objectivos que eu tive para este trabalho foi tentar explorar técnicas diferentes, criar um objecto que claramente representasse o respeito, o luto e a dor
de uma forma subtil. Recorri ao laser como forma de expressar os sentimentos e o processo pelo qual eu passei, queimando letra a letra, até chegar ao fundo, ao vazio.
In the eighteeth century the English typographer and painter William Blake, took the first steps in author books thinking about the book as support for a work of art. The author book I developed was the instantaneos book that portrays my interpretation of the death process. Analyzing the support, I consider it a very interesting object with three spreads that may present the folder of shed as a surprise factor, combining imagination with creativity.
"The process" was the title that I chose for my project. We have all suffered through the death of someone, it is part of our lives to go through this process. I portrayed the death process, the time when my grandfather was gone. The goal for this project was to try to explore different techniques, create an object that clearly represents the respect, grief and the pain in
a subtle way. i resorted to a laser as a way to express the feelings and the process by which I passed, burning letter by letter,
to get to the bottom, to emptyness.
