An icon turns to Love and Music
While ROLLOUT projects are often bold and graphic in nature, we decided to approach this piece from an industrial design perspective, incorporating restraint, focusing on negative space, and transforming our chair into a musical instrument. Bass strings woven throughout echo the original form and design intent, while creating pattern and providing specific visual cues. It was this resulting effect that guided the gold pattern that adorns the front section of the chair. We feel that the results were successful in both addressing our love for a great cause with hugs and kisses, while also speaking to music as a form of comfort and joy.
