XPC is a makerspace that provides the necessary materials and equipments to create your project. It is also a space where hackers, makers, innovators and thinkers come together and collaborate.

 

Everyone has the potential to create their own unique masterpieces from scratch. In XPC we encourage people to let their imaginations run free in the huge space that we provide and to go beyond what they can achieve. XPC aims to be the platform for everyone to create, hack, think and innovate.

 

The bright and vibrant colors coupled with a the grey color tone and 3d modelled objects gives the makerspace a more exciting and fun approach to what has already been done before.

 

The typeface chosen is a bold, sans-serif typeface to represent resilience, the two bold stroke lines below is a visual representation of platform. The logo is 'dissected' while the platform stays in place to represent unleashing of creativity and letting your imaginations flow. This is then being implemented across all the different brand collaterals.

 

The series of posters aims to show the three different taglines of XPC that is targetted at the target audiences.

 

"Platform for your imagination" – Thinkers

"Platform for your innovations" – Innovators

"Platform for your creations" – Makers

 

When they are viewed in order, the background and the logo seemingly comes together at the end.

'Imagination' is represented by the dissected and dynamic logo and items at the background.

'Innovation' is represented by the process of putting things together and coming together.

'Creation' is represented by when everything has come together and is completed.

 

All members upon signing up would receive an exclusive members kit. The members kit contains

 

- a starter's kit notebook, 

- an apron

- pencils

- membership card

There are instructions on the underside of the cover that guides users how to reuse the box into a toolbox to keep their tools while they are working on their project in the makerspace. 

 

The starters kit notebook features a material list on one side and a manual on the right which includes step by step instructions to get people started on their first project.

 

Center cards are given to the public where it can function as a cardholder. Users pull up the inner card and are able to tear off the coupon to redeem a free daily pass at the makerspace.

 

The center card has the logo at the front, when users pull up the card to reveal the coupon, the logo 'dissects' at the same time.

 

The membership kit also includes an apron with 3D modelled objects printed on it, giving it a fun and casual vibe.
