Zombie
Negan (pronounced NEE-gan) is a main character and an antagonist, as well as a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is the leader of the Saviors and serves as the primary antagonist of both the second half of Season 6 and Season 7.
Negan is shown to be a cruel, highly intelligent, brutal and ferocious sociopathic man with a sarcastic, inappropriate sense of humor. Negan is a brilliant strategist and a strong, effective leader, having kept hundreds of people alive and is worshiped by many and feared by others. He appears to have complete control over his vast group and is questioned by no one, acting as a complete tyrant. Negan appears to care about the well-being of his group as shown when he personally killed Abraham and Gleen as punishment for the slaughter of many of his soldiers at the hands of Rick and his group.
Rick Grimes is a fictional character in the comic book series The Walking Dead and is portrayed by Andrew Lincoln in the television series of the same name. Created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore, the character made his debut in The Walking Dead #1 in 2003. The primary protagonist of both series, Rick Grimes is a small town sheriff's deputy who shares a son, Carl Grimes, with wife Lori Grimes. He awakens from a coma to find the world overrun with zombies, and a fight for survival ensues.
Michonne saves the life of Andrea and the two spend eight months on the road together. They stumble upon the town of Woodbury, and Michonne is instantly suspicious of the town and The Governor. Eventually, trusting her gut instinct, Michonne leaves the town and Andrea behind, only to stumble upon Rick Grimes and his fellow survivors at the prison under complicated circumstances and forms a temporary alliance with him to get revenge on The Governor. Over the course of the series, she increasingly gains the trust and loyalty of Rick Grimes and the two soon share a very close relationship, as she becomes his right-hand woman. She eventually forms a very close bond with Rick's son, Carl, to whom she reveals the truth about her boyfriend, Mike, and his friend, Terry, as well as being a mother to a three-year-old child named Andre, who was killed sometime after the outbreak. Michonne is also a member of the council at the prison after Rick relinquishes leadership before being forced on the road again and eventually finding the Alexandria Safe-Zone and becoming one of the two constables, along with Rick.
Daryl Dixon is a fictional character from the horror drama television series The Walking Dead, which airs on AMC in the United States and is based on the comic book series of the same name. He was created by writers Frank Darabont, Charles H. Eglee and Jack LoGiudice specifically for Norman Reedus after they liked his audition so much for Merle Dixon that they created an additional character for him.[citation needed] The character was introduced in the first season as a Southern expert tracker who constantly lives in the shadow of his older brother, Merle. Despite his ill temper and volatility, he is tolerated by the core group of survivors due to his skills in hunting animals and fearless efficiency in killing zombies
Tara Chambler is a fictional character from the horror drama television series The Walking Dead, which airs on AMC in the United States and is based on the comic book series of the same name.The character is based on Tara Chalmers from The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor, a novel based on the comic book series and the past of The Governor. She is portrayed by Alanna Masterson. She is the first LGBT character to be introduced in the series.
Glenn Rhee is a fictional character from the comic book series The Walking Dead and is portrayed by Steven Yeun in the AMC television series of the same name. He is also voiced by Nick Herman in the video game of the same name, by Telltale Games. In the comics, he was known simply as Glenn and was not given a last name. Glenn was Maggie's boyfriend-turned-husband, and takes the role of surrogate father to Sophia following the suicide of Carol, her biological mother. In the television series, he mentioned that his parents were Korean immigrants who lived in Michigan. He again becomes Maggie's boyfriend and later marries her.
Carol Peletier is a fictional character from the comic book series The Walking Dead and is portrayed by Melissa McBride in the American television series of the same name. Carol is introduced in the comics in the third issue of the first volume, "Days Gone Bye", in 2003, and the third episode of the first season of the television series in 2010, as a meek housewife and mother of Sophia at the survival camp in Atlanta, Georgia. Initially a recurring cast member, McBride was upgraded to a series regular position at the onset of the second season, and the character's role has predominantly increased since the fourth season. The character's arc has been described as a "hero's journey" by executive producer Scott M. Gimple, having made many difficult decisions in order to survive.[1]
The direction of her character is contrasted between the two mediums. In the comic series, Carol is a 24-year-old housewife who exhibits a neurotic, self-centered, and naive demeanor. Throughout her time in the comics, she grows increasingly unstable, to the extent of self-destruction and ultimately commits suicide. The television show differs in these regards, as she is shown to be a stern, pragmatic, and compassionate individual who has been gradually building inner strength. She is shown to be much more capable and emotionally stable than her comic book counterpart. The abuse she faced by her husband was explicitly shown in the show whereas it was merely hinted at in the comics. In addition, Carol and Tyreese have a brief romantic relationship before they break up while in the television series it is a close but complex group bond.
Maggie Greene is a fictional character from the comic book series The Walking Dead, portrayed by Lauren Cohan in the television series of the same name. She is Hershel Greene's daughter andGlenn's wife.
In both mediums, Maggie and Glenn form a relationship and eventually become a married couple. In the comic book series, Maggie, Hershel's second daughter of seven children, becomes the surrogate mother to Sophia Peletier following the suicide of the girl's biological mother. Maggie initially has insecurities about herself and appears physically and emotionally weak. However, as time passes, Maggie hardens and becomes severely independent. She leaves the Alexandria Safe Zone and relocates to the Hilltop Colony.[4] Later, she becomes heavily involved with the war against the Saviours. Maggie stands up and encourages the people to follow Rick Grimes instead of Gregory and Negan. In result, she successfully overthrows Gregory and becomes the de factoleader of the Hilltop Colony. After the war, Maggie has a son named after her father, Hershel. She remains fiercely protective of her children, as well as Carl Grimes while remaining at odds with previous leader, Gregory.
In the television series, Maggie does not share the insecurities her comic book counterpart has, and is much more independent to begin with. Initially, Maggie is inexperienced and ignorant of the apocalypse, being largely sheltered at the Greene family farm, but once Rick's group arrive, Maggie quickly grows into a fierce and skilled fighter, becoming proficient with weapons and participating in supply runs for the group. Maggie forms a sexual relationship with Glenn after learning of his crush on her but insists it is just a "friends with benefits" arrangement, until she later realizes she has fallen in love with him and eventually marries him. Their relationship is tested in numerous ways over the course of the series and is currently the longest lasting pairing in the show.
Carl Grimes is a fictional character from the comic book series The Walking Dead and is portrayed by Chandler Riggs in the American television series of the same name, which airs on AMC in the United States. The character was created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore, and debuted in The Walking Dead #2 in 2003. In both forms of media, Carl is the son of primary protagonistRick Grimes and is one of the longest-surviving characters.
In the comic book series, Carl begins as a normal and innocent child, but, as the events of the new world order force him to grow up, he becomes colder and competently makes sometimes brash decisions for the good of his group of friends. The character's development is similar in the television series, where he is a normal boy before adapting a callous and cold personality to survive. This behavior puts him into conflict with his father, who desires to maintain Carl's morality and innocence. Over time, however, Carl becomes alarmed to his cold ways and regains his sense of morality while still keeping his wits while his father begins to lose his own morality, which puts Carl at odds with him for various reasons, such as helping people in need.
