This design was done as a contest entry for "Design for Linkin Park" conducted by Talenthouse.
The brief was to come up with a design which matched the theme of Linkin Park's hit single "Castle of Glass". The design was featured as one of the top 25 entries for the contest.

Final case mockup
The quote shown in the music video: “All great things are simple, and many can be expressed in single words: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope” by Winston Churchill influenced me the most while creating the piece.

Cardboard sleeve (back)
Wile doing the initial research, I came across this touching image of Sgt. Joseph Rozewicz, kneeling before the memorial display for Sgt. Nathan R. Beyers. It was too powerful an image to ignore and I wanted the world to see and try to understand.
CD print mockup
The artwork was inspired by the image. It was done in black and white for obvious reasons. And also that it matches with the bands current branding and other covers

The image was used in the album cover, jackets, t-shirt and the CD/DVD.
