After the sudden death of my grandmother, I started the very personal project of researching her life, which resulted in a printed book consisting of two parts. The first part contains mostly letters from my grandfather to my grandmother as well as stories, documents and images. The second part shows excerpts of a diary in the form of written words, photographs and illustrations that record my personal feelings following the months after her death.
