This project aims to design a series of unified pieces where the typography expresses the language within the text: its essence, nature and meaning, as well as the subjective interpretation of the same.

 

I chose three poems from Object Poems by Charles Simic. I love the black humor indicated in lines, especially the poem Watermelon. I am also fascinated by the shapes of punctuation marks. I use the shapes to visualize the poems.
