Timun Mas and Buto Ijo is a common folklore from Indonesia. Tells about a young brave girl, Timun Mas, pursued by a big-green-ugly-monster called Buto Ijo.

Timun Mas is a daughter of Mbok Srini, an old widow who have no children. Timun Mas came from the cucumber seeds that once Buto Ijo gave to Mbok Srini. Mbok Srini made a promise to Buto Ijo to return Timun Mas to him later in the future when she grown up. But she can't let Buto Ijo eat her dearest daughter, the only choice is just to ask Timun Mas to run away.
He tried so hard to catch Timun Mas.
Timun Mas threw the first package her mom gave to her.
It was a cucumber seeds!Â
Woosh.. wooshh...
A large of cucumber plants grew.

"Hmmm.. yummy!" he said.
"I cannot let you go!"
Buto Ijo still tried to catch her.
Timun Mas threw the second package.
It was a lot of sharp needle
Then..

A large of bamboo plants grew.
It was quite high. It was kinda argute.
Made his step slipped.
"Damn it! Where are you going?"
He screamed.
Timun Mas threw the third package her mom gave to her.
It was a few grains of salt.
Who turns into.....

With a big waves...
and there was a ship too.

It was terasi -- a traditional food seasoning from Indonesia.
