A chapbook about the Futurist artistic and social movement in the early 20th century. The movement, beginning in Italy and spreading all across Europe, was led by agressive and charismatic personalities set on breaking away from traditional lifestyle virtues and methods of making art and travelling to a new and exciting societal structure. I portrayed these Futurist motifs by neglecting established norms of type and image treatment in terms of margins, proximity, type management and layering. While I sacrificed legibility I enhanced my conceptual expression. I used simple triangles and image orientation to suggest forward movement. I bound the book in the style of one of the pioneers of Futurism, Fortunato Depero. The copy in the book is a collection of just some of the numerous manifestos published by adamant Futurists during this era.
