L’intention de ce projet est de donner aux vacanciers de ce lieu, l’impression d’être à la fois dans un gîte de ville, situé près du centre-ville de Strasbourg, et dans un gîte rural, implanté dans le parc de l'Étoile. L’idée du gîte Rural Urban est d’avoir une grande pièce à vivre commune, et lumineuse, pour 8 personnes, avec plusieurs chambres et salles d’eau.
The intention of this project is to give to the vacationers to this place, the impression to be in an urban lodge, located near to the city center of Strasbourg, and at the same time, in a cottage located in " le parc de l'Étoile ". The idea of Rural Urban is to have a large living room common and bright, for 8 people, with several rooms and bathrooms.
Le gîte est semi-souterrain pour ne pas gâcher la vue du parc et car la terre est un bon isolant thermique. Les façades sont orientées de façon à ce que le gîte absorbe un maximum de chaleur en hiver et reste frais en été.
The lodge is semi-underground in order to not spoil the view of the park and because the land is a good thermal insulator. The facades are oriented so that the gîte absorbs the maximum warmth in winter and stays fresh in summer.
