When I came to Bangalore, one of the first things that I noticed was that not only did Bangalore have many trees but it had a wide variety of trees. And many of the trees were flowering ones. Bright pinks, reds and yellows dotted the streets no matter which area.
I concentrated on the unique landscape planning of Bangalore with respect to the flowering trees of the city. I have taken inspiration from the most common flowering trees in the city and abstracted the visual forms of the flowers, leaves and fruits into typography in the form of a font for the word BANGALORE.
