Hello Cheese! Branding

PROJECT

Logo making combines a number of important elements, first a thorough understanding of the client that you are designing for along with the intended audience, branding and other intangibles. But at its heart, a logo/wordmark starts with the name or letters of the client. By exploring the shapes of the letters in combination with graphic forms, interesting design possibilities are created.

In this first project you will create a logo for a new company. For your design consider using wordmarks, symbols, or monograms that will suit the image and objective of the client. The chosen design from phase one will be applied to other applications of the company including; business cards, letterheads, stationery and signage.

CONCEPT

The main idea behind the company is an all fondue restaurant. We will import the highest quality cheeses from around the world to give our customers the best fondue selection ever seen in one restaurant. To also give the restaurant a local feel we will also make our own cheeses for you to enjoy in various fondue choices. We will offer the mildest fondue to the stinkiest of cheese fondues.

There will be a store in the restaurant where you can buy the cheeses that we import, as well as the ones we make ourselves so you can enjoy them in the comfort of your own home.

CONCLUSION

I really enjoyed this project and the final product I presented. It was really enjoyable to create a company in your vision and see it come to life through the overall branding of the business. It took a lot of work and even more research and planning but it was definitely worth it.
