Requested for a tattoo design of F. Dostoevsky surrealistic portrait based on the painting by russian artist Kramskoy. The portrait has to be done in surrealistic manner and graphic style similar to etching.

I started from rough pencil sketches. And proposed the bust with a skyline of St.Pete on top of Dostoevsky's head and after several discussions another one with splited hollow head. But than client decided that finally wants an head only with a mountains landscape, clouds and sky.
