Inspiration
Vine plants are common in Taiwanese families. However, the existing plant vases don’t seem to match or belong with the plant. Therefore, I hope to create a vase that goes well with the vine plants which at the same time shows perfectly extendable and flowing features of vine plants. Besides, I hope the vase design can be perfectly combined with the organic and aesthetic image of the plants, so that the vase can also be placed as a piece of art work.
Concept
My design concept is to redefine the relationship between plants and vases. “Bleeding Vase” is shaped as the body of a bird, and with plants planted inside of the vase; the vines of the plant would look exactly like the bird’s tail. With plants grow heartier, the tail of the bird is more and more living and appealing.
The wall-hanging vase is suitable for different kinds of environment. Organic aesthetics. The simple-curved design is like a living piece of art work.
The interior design of the vase holds the plant firmly so that the plants would be placed vertically in the vase. At the same time, the plants in the vase create a feeling of green pouring out, which shows vividly the living feature of vine plants.
Construction
(1) The hidden holder inside the vase can firmly grasp the plants.
(2) Extra water will be stored in the bottom of the vase to prevent excessive moisture of the plants. On the contrary, when there is not enough water in the soil, the cotton thread will transfer moisture up to soil so that the plants would be flourished still.
