Tartu Sketches
- the animated sketchbook -
I spent the January in Tartu, Estonia, being one of the participants of the Tartu Artist in Residence program of Trükimuuseum - Estonian Printing Museum. During the month we worked on an animation film with Mikael Kuosmanen, creating a moodvideo about the city.
I started sketching the city, and Mikael composed music based on my drawings. The next step was aniamating the pictures, and merge the film with the music.
We closed our residency with a cozy Pop Up Exhibition and Concert in the Eesti Kirjandusmuuseum in Tartu.
