The Indian Truck Art Lookbook

The Indian truck art lookbook

The Indian Truck art look-book was a part of college project which took us through understanding the vernacular and visual culture we live in. Our space was Yelahanka, Bengaluru, India. After going through lateral and longitudinal research of our surroundings to collect vernacular information and understanding visual culture, we were given a task to narrow it down to a single topic, for which we had to create an output of our comprehension. I chose the topic of truck art and created a look-book manual on the folk art. I went through the process of documenting the lives and style of trucks in Yelahanka, Karnataka. The presentation contains a brief explanation on the truck art followed in our country.
