"Vergina" Beer - Branding & Packaging

This is a rebranding concept for the Macedonian Thrace Brewery’s “Vergina”, a Premium Quality Beer.

Stationary

The logo was based on the “Vergina Sun”, a well known ancient Greek symbol, found near the ancient town of Vergina. The “Vergina Sun” represents, among other things, the four elements of nature, Water, Earth, Fire and Wind, and the four seasons.

Inspired by that, the packaging followed the four elements theme, thus creating a beer for every season: A refreshing cold Lager for the Summer, a rich Weiss for Spring, a strong Red for Autumn and a tasteful Black for Winter. Water was visualized with the waves of the sea, Earth with the growth of a sprout, Fire with a flame burst and Winter with a cold gust.
