In the year of my graduation in Advertising, I also had the pleasure to design the invitation for my own class. I was involved in the process of choosing the direction for the photoshoot, along with the photographer. We ended up following a path that was more conceptual (each person chose the picture to be blended with their own photo) and not sot much for the "happy graduation" look.
This invitation, for us, was about a transitioning moment, and had to say something about who we are now and who we want to become. Alongside each photograph there's a small interview with the subject, where we answered things such as our favorite spot in the faculty, things we always wanted to do but never had the guts, or where we plan to be in 5 years.
Hopefully, we'll be able to look back at it in a few years and find ourselves exactly where we are supposed to be.
For the cover, we used a copper hot foil:
The booklet itself was all printed in black ink using newspaper as support.
