Explored and used paper as a medium to create objects, prototypes and products for the several courses I’d chosen in college. Most of these creations are essentially meant for general usage.

I used to work a lot with paper, before I explored other different kinds of materials which could be used in lieu of it.

Modern Origami Lamp
Size: 14x 7 Inches
Material: Aluminium Foil, Ivory Sheets

Using the modern developed techniques of Origami, I made this lamp in a cylindrical manner for it to be aesthetically appealing and added a layer of tracing paper on its inner walls to make the lights disperse. Colored paper can also be added from the inside for it illuminate in different colors.

Qutab Minar
Size: 36x7 Inches
Material: Newspaper, Ivory Sheets

This 3 feet sculpture was made fully out of paper; the inner structure consists of newspaper-crushed rolls.
I wanted the outer design to be the exactly same as of the actual monument.
I made newspaper rolls and triangle shaped sticks to give the actual effect.

Iron Man Helmet Lamp
Size: 9x6 Inches
Material: Mount Board

My fandom of Iron Man made me experiment cutting paper in that design and transforming it to a useful product.

Face Potrait Lamp
Size: 14x10 Inches
Material: Mount Board, Tracing Sheets

And experiment in stenciling of a face portrait, which indeed I transformed into a box lamp.

Maze Runner
Size: 15x3x3 Inches
Material: Mount Board

This was done for one of my course where I had given a task to package a cylindrical product, and transforming that packaging into a proper object. I had in mind to use it as a game (where the name comes from),
But it had a totally different visual when focused lights through it.

Time Line
Size: 12x10 Inches
Material: Newspaper, Embroidery Thread

This was made in the cause of increasing number of rapes cases in India.
The Pink side depicts the happy hours for girls and the black shows the dark hours.
These are newspaper rolls covered with embroidery thread.
