In an effort to work towards finally building up my portfolio again, I have resolved to do a new creative photo shoot every month this year.  Getting a new, higher paying job with weekends off is really helping with this, but the biggest factor in aiding me in this goal is the fact that I have amazing friends willing to help me out by modeling for me.  I received so much support when asking for help with my projects, I couldn't be more grateful.

This first shoot was my first attempt at a flour shoot.  It turned out a bit different, yet so much better than I had imagined.  These images inspire thoughts of a winter wonderland, which is quite fitting for the month this shoot was done.  :]  The beautiful Amy Taliaferro was MUA and model for this shoot, doing such an amazing job despite the struggles we had with the invasive messes flour can make.  Her naturally photogenic qualities and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the shot are invaluable and I am stoked to work with her every shoot we have.

I am very proud of this shoot, I hope you enjoy.
