The brief given was to create a Art Noveau style Concert Poster in researching Art Noveau Artists such as Aubrey Beardsley, Hokusai, Hiroshige, Alphonse Mucha, Ken Taylor, and  Aaron Horkey. I Look closely to Alphonse Mucha and the style he worked in. I used Flourishes, Textures, Banner, Type, Curves and Thick outlines. My final poster was for the Artist Lana Del Rey, her style fits very well with Art Noveau. My poster was created on Illustrator in which i used the pen tool to make the flourishes, Circle, Lana herself and her over exaggerated hair. I then used Photoshop to add all of these layers together and change the hue and saturation, add drop shadows and textures.The type i had chosen to use was to fit with the style of the poster. As my poster is quite busy, i didn't want to overpower it with flourished type as my poster consists of a lot of flourishes and curves already.
