City of Churches
A few illustrations commissioned by Limerick City Museum and Archives for a book by Emma Gilleece, and part of an exhibition that went around a number of venues in Limerick throughout 2014.
They wanted a Limerick cityscape for the main image..which has 15 churches in there somewhere..
The other illustrations came from thinking, what would it be like to be one of the statues that are on the ledges....and..if you were scared of heights...
First ever illustrations in a bookshop!! Its also kinda great that 'the simplest prayer' is in the bottom corner.
