Serendipity
Task
Based on the “serendipity” word, students were instructed to create a clear narrative using simple geometric shapes, vector graphics, and/or typography.
Goal
To create a simple and impactful animation.
Solution
Serendipity means the faculty of making fortunate discoveries by accident; the fact or occurrence of such discoveries; an instance of making such a discovery. It is estimated that between 30% and 50% of all scientific discoveries are, in some sense, accidental. The narrative is about this fact and it shows some examples of the accidental discoveries, including, Big Bang, penicillin, X-ray and electricity. The project has circles as the main shapes and vectors as an illustration style.
