Owls are nocturnal birds of prey and are one of my favorite birds. Their major characteristics are their stance, broad head, amazing night vision, hearing ability and above all, their feathers that are adapted to deliver a silent flight. But what inspires me the most is their character. There is beauty hidden in the form of thier eyes, feathers or even their texture and it inspires me.
Unfortunately, owls are often associated with evil spirits and have many superstitions associated with them in several cultures. Many owls are sacrificed for illegal witchcraft practices, and so are many other animals and birds. Through my project, I hope to spread awareness and help in the conservation of such species. Owl society is my first work towards animal welfare.
