Lord Of the Flies - Festival Poster and Book Design

Lord of the Flies remains as provocative today as when it was first published in 1954, igniting passionate debate with its startling, brutal portrait of human nature. Though critically acclaimed, it was largely ignored upon its initial publication. Yet soon it became a cult favorite among both students and literary critics who compared it to J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Ryein its influence on modern thought and literature.

This Project was realised at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, during my stay in Istanbul. It is a Poster design for the screening festival and a redesign of the book.

The Book is seperatet by an accordion fold into 12 sections as there are 12 chapters. It consists of folded Papers, each paper hat 4 Pages of text written on one and chapter descriptions wrtitten on the other side.

The handsewed book was printed on very fragile thin paper.
